But their ratings and literature promise clean, sanitary water and it always looks just fine to me. Yeah, I kind of wonder about a tub someone else was in, doing who knows what. It's usually a spur of the moment thing and once the thought enters my brain, I MUST have Oasis! I go daytime, during the week, so usually have my choice of tubs. Grab a tea from the front for a dollar or two and go relax! The front desk will call you when there is about 10 minutes left of your stay so you have time to shower off (shower in every room) and get dressed. The hot tub scents they sell are not worth it, they only work for a minute and the smell is gone. Make sure your not drunk or drinking or they wont allow you in and be prepared to sign a waiver upon entering your room. You can also control how dark or light you want it (I always pick lights all the way off and let the colorful mood lights stay on) and also call as much as you need to adjust the temp of the water. The cool thing about each room is that you can bring your own music device and listen to your own music, if you dont have one they have about 50 stations of commercial free music to choose from. Japanese gardens is a really cool room but tiny circle tub with not much to offer. The english countryside has a lay down spot with jets but i've never been fond of that tub because you cant really lie down, you sort of just float and the jets make it even harder. It also has a private bathroom in the room. The Vancouver is a circle tub but has extremely firm jets, this is probably my favorite tub because its still large enough to submerge in and the jets get out all the knots in my back. I like to bring my kids in this tub because there is more room, sometimes the workers will even give us toys they have in the back for the kids to play with. The Mayan and Desert tubs are the deepest and can fit lots of people, sometimes we like to get this one to kind of swim around in, the jets are not super strong though. I like to go mid week anyway so its perfect for me. The membership is $7 when your buying an hour soak and then from that date your rental is $22 for the hour except on holidays and weekend nights I believe. I love the outside tubs when it is snowing. I have a membership to the Oasis and go frequently throughout the year but mainly in winter. We hope that you will visit with us again soon and let us know what you think about the changes we made to the suite :) We truly appreciate your feedback! We just wanted to update you that since you brought some issues to our attention with your review in February, we immediately made cosmetic changes to the Desert Suite to give it more of a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere while keeping with the Desert theme, such as closed shutters the decorative faux windows. We would love to have a Manager get in contact with you regarding your recent visit. We are a no smoking facility, so if you smell smoke coming from a neighboring garden, please make us aware so that we can be sure to take care of the situation right away. If ever you have concerns during your stay, please contact the front desk, there are many ways we can help you from outside the room especially regarding your neighbors. We can assure you that each and every suite is completely private. We are sorry to hear you felt uncomfortable during your visit with us. Between the chair behind the window, the police and ambulance and the strong odor or pot coming from the tub next to us I think we will hit a movie or something on our next date night! We suggested maybe locking that door and covering the window so patrons felt a little safer and the man behind the counter rolled his eyes and got a little snotty. I personally think that covering the window and tossing out the old broken chair would have been a wiser choice. ![]() When we asked about it we were told that it was a broken chair, just being stored there. Just very creepy to think that this unlocked nook with a viewing window was right there. The unlock door led to a "storage room" of some sort. There was a door, which we assumed was decoration until we opened it. ![]() While in our tub we couldn't help but notice a window and curiosity got the best of us so we stuck out faces up to the darkened glass to find a chair on the other side of the window. ![]() We were not impressed with our recent visit.
